Owls are usually solitary birds, yet interestingly the literary collective noun for a group of them is a parliament.
So does this one remind you of any politicians? Or an erudite professor; perhaps even a rock star after a hard day's night?
Like most of Juliet Kepes' bird and animal illustrations, this picture is worth a thousand words. What story lies behind that stare?
After much debate, Adam - our intern this Summer - picked the print's name: 'Owl Perspective'. Our brilliant printers have managed to reproduce it in perfect detail, right down to capturing the texture of the original pastels and grainy paper using archival inks on Hahnemühle, edged by a plain border.
